Guidelines on Module Selection
When choosing Modules for the first year of study, students are recommended to select Modules DEO13 and DEO11, as these are foundational for the other Modules in the program.
If time constraints prevent the completion of both DEO13 and DEO11, it is advisable to prioritize DEO13. If students can take on a third Module in addition to DEO13 and DEO11, they may choose DEO10.
To enroll in Module DEO33 (Marketing II), students must have successfully completed DEO23 (Marketing I).
In the third year, students should select Modules DEO31 and DEO34, and choose one additional Module from either DEO33 or DEO45.
During the fourth year, students must complete the compulsory Module DEO40 and select one Module from either DEO41 or DEO44, as well as one additional Module from DEO42 or DEO43.
To enroll in any third-year Modules, students must have successfully completed all first-year Modules. Similarly, to enroll in any fourth-year Modules, students must have completed all second-year Modules.
When declaring Modules, students should first complete the Modules of the previous year before declaring those for the following year.
Exceptionally, for students who have not successfully completed a Module from the first year or second year:
Students may enroll in third-year Modules if they have completed all first-year Modules or, exceptionally, if they have no more than one outstanding first-year Module but have completed all second-year Modules. Similarly, students may enroll in fourth-year Modules if they have completed all second-year Modules or, exceptionally, if they have no more than one outstanding second-year Module but have completed all third-year Modules (and of course, the first-year Modules).
To be awarded the Degree, students must successfully complete a total of 12 Modules.
