» The program is open to high school graduates or individuals holding equivalent secondary education degrees, whether obtained in Greece or abroad.
» Proficiency in a foreign language and familiarity with computers, email, and the Internet will greatly enhance participation in the program.
The Program of Studies spans four (4) years, divided into eight (8) semesters. During the first seven (7) semesters, students will complete three (3) Modules per semester, each worth ten (10) ECTS credits. In the eighth semester, students will choose three (3) Modules from a selection of seven (7) Modules, each worth ten (10) ECTS credits.
The structure of the Program by year and semester is as follows:
1st Year : 1st Semester
DIT10 Quantitative Methods in Tourism Management : (C¹, 10 ECTS)
DIT11 Introduction to Tourism and Hospitality : (C, 10 ECTS)
DIT12 Hotel Enterprises and Services Management : (C, 10 ECTS)
Module Selection Instructions
» Students may choose between one (1) and three (3) Modules per semester. For the first semester, it is recommended to select Modules DIT10 and DIT11, as these provide foundational knowledge beneficial for other Modules in the program. If time constraints prevent the completion of both, it is advisable to choose DIT10. If students have the capacity to take on a third Module, they may also include DIT12 alongside DIT10 and DIT11.
» When registering for Modules, students must first complete Modules from previous semesters before enrolling in those for the next semester. For example, if students have completed one (1) Module from the first semester and wish to select three (3) Modules in the second semester, they must register for the remaining two (2) Modules from the first semester and one (1) from the second semester, and continue this pattern.
» In the eighth (8) semester, students must choose three (3) Modules from the following options: DIT41, DIT81, DIT82, DIT83, DIT84, DIT85, and DIT86.
» The minimum duration of the program is four (4) years. To complete the program within this time frame, students should select three (3) Modules each semester.
» To be awarded the degree, students must successfully complete a total of 24 Modules.
